Animal Planet debuts new look, new shows during national free preview Month in July

The Animal Planet channel offers a variety of programs perfect for the entire family.  Everyone loves animals and what better way is there to learn about and discover some of this planets most amazing creatures.

Your family can tune in free for the entire month of July. Some of the shows that are perfect for family viewing include:

Petfinder: Based on the popular website Petfinder.com, this series matches shelter animals with families searching for their own perfect pet.

Profiles of Nature Specials: This superb series focuses on some of Canada’s foremost wildlife cinematographers, highlighting their great love of wildlife and the dedication to excellence of this special breed of nature lover.

The Planet’s Funniest Animals; The Planet’s Funniest Animals is an hour-long peek into the hilarious lives of the world’s most talented and entertaining animals. Don’t miss the Planet’s Funniest Animals marathon on Saturday, March 1 from 1pm ET to 6pm ET. Then tune in at 7pm ET on Tuesday, March 4 to Friday, March 7 for more episodes.

Jessica the Hippo; An Unusual Bond is Celebrated in Jessica The Hippo, May 15 on Animal Planet. Jessica enjoys sweet coffee breaks and a full body aromatherapy massage before bed, but unlike most other gals, Jessica is a hippo!
